An exciting new addition to the Clos de la Chapelle portfolio. Teurons lies within the finest section of the Beaune 1er Crus, producing some of the most elegant, full and balanced wines of this AOC.
Total acidity: 3.85
Bottled mid September 2013
Located immediately to the west of the village, our .25 hectare parcel features 60 year old vines with reddish brown soil and a moderate mix of limestone.
A wine of medium ruby color, it contains floral aromas that have notes of red currant and dark berry fruits. The mid-palate has a firm structure and good dilineation. There is a nice finish with very good minerality.
Ideally served between 15 -16 C/59-61 F, this wine pairs well with lamb, rabbit, and sausage; but if you prefer fish, grilled tuna matches well. A variety of cheeses including Delice de Pommard and Emmentaler enjoy this wine, but chevre such as Maconnais or Bucheron is an especially fine choice.
