Beaune Les Reversées 2020

Beaune is a village that dates back to the Roman times and archaelogical evidence supports the plantation of vines around the town at that time.  Rich in premier cru designation, some 75% of the cultivation boasts this status.

Vineyard

This is one of our premier cru white wines (Pernand Vergelesses 1er cru Sous Fretille being the other) and comes from a vineyard that also produces excellent red premier cru wines. We farm .25 hectares on vines that average 25 years of age.

A pale golden color overlays a fresh, white peach and stone fruit mid-palate. This is a refreshing wine resolves to a balanced finish.

Serving Suggestions

Ideally served at 12 C/ 54 F, this wine pairs beautifully with mild fishes, such as halibut, salmon, or cod, or simply prepared chicken or quail as well as with quice or vegetable tarts, mushroom souffles, and mild cheeses such as Brie, Morbier, or Cantal.

L'abus d'alcool est dangereux pour la santé. A consommer avec modération.
