Vineyard

Situated in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, between Beaune and Volnay, Pommard produces one of the most renowned AOC's of France. The village is surrounded by slopes of densely planted vineyards, at altitudes from 250 to 330m that are oriented east and southeast.

This appellation included 28 Premiers Crus, with the most famous being Les Epenots, Les Rugiens and Les Chanlins.

Deep ruby color with garnet highlights. Good aromatic intensity, with a complex nose of minerality, small black fruits and minty chocolate.
A lively attack, good structure on the palate, full-bodied and lovely concentration. Well-rounded tannins, and beautiful minerality on the finish.

Serving Suggestions

This Pommard is best served at a temperature between 16 and 18°C. With its structure and concentration it will go ideally with roasted wild fowl and game. Excellent as well with a Boeuf Bourguignon or Coq au Vin and perfect to accompany stronger cheeses.
